What are the benefits of creating an account?

Owning an account allows you to participate in discussions, create and edit a personal profile, and share screenshots with other users. As time goes on, owning an account will allow you to do even more.

How do I sign in?

In the top right corner, there is a link that says sign in. Click that link and it will take you to the sign in form.

What does the stay signed in checkbox do?

If you leave this checkbox blank, you will be signed out after an hour of inactivity. However, if you check this box, you will not be signed out until after a week of inactivity.

How do I sign out?

In the top right corner, there is a link that says sign out. Click that link and it will sign you out of your account.

How do I change my account settings and update my profile?

Click my account in the top right corner of the page. This will take you to your account settings. You can then proceed to update your signature, biography, or anything else that is available for updating.

What size should my Avatar (Display Picture) be?

All avatars are resized to 95 pixels by 95 pixels. Although you are allowed to upload images smaller or larger than this, be aware that they may become distorted. Also, all avatars are changed to the gif format so some quality may be lost.

When will [feature name] be released?

Unless otherwise stated, I'm not sure when any specific feature will be released. Please know that I am doing my best with the amount of free time I have available.

How do I create a new discussion?

On the home page, in each category, and on the categories page, there is a form at the bottom of the page to create a new discussion. By default, the current category (if any) is selected, but feel free to choose a different one.

How do I comment on an existing discussion?

At the bottom of each page in a discussion, there should be a form to place a comment in a discussion.

What emoticons can I use and how do I create them?

Private Messaging

How long does it take for my message to arrive?

All messages should be viewable by the recipient within 5 minutes, but usually immediately.

What is the difference between delete and remove?

Delete sends the message to the trash whereas remove removes the message from your mailbox completely.

What does the unread status in my Outbox indicate?

This simply means that you have not read it yet. I have made it this way to protect everyone's privacy. You don't want everyone to know when you read your mail, now do you? :-P

When will this section be available?

I am aiming for mid-July, but it may be much longer than that.

What is the maximum size image I am allowed to upload?

800 pixels by 600 pixels will be the maximum at this point. This may change in the future.

Do screenshots need to be approved first?

Yes, they do. Depending on the volume of screenshots uploaded and the number of mods online, it may be looked at immediately or it may take a few days. Please be patient.

My screenshot wasn't approved! What do I do now?

Nothing. If we didn' approve of the screenshot, it was for a reason. Please don't resubmit any rejected screenshot as this may cause a suspension.

Does my screenshot have to be of game play?

No. The title of this section is a bit misleading. You may upload fan art, screenshots, or anything of this sort. Please keep it game-related though. Thanks!
